Healthy, happy dogs love to run, jump and play they also need to learn how to be obedient. The Dog House is owned and run by Shelley Heading. Not happy with some harsh training methods she found at classes with her puppy weimaraner, Shelley decided to study all about our canine friends. Then in 1995 The Dog House was established which promotes and uses KIND, FAIR and EFFECTIVE training methods friendly classes and individual services.

We welcome all breeds, cross-breeds and all sizes of dog at The Dog House. All our courses are based on a first-come/first-served basis and include Puppy classes, Adult Beginner classes, Agility for Fun, Fly ball for fun and Dog Training for Children.

Behaviour consultations are available if you and your dog need help with a problems such as toilet training, separation, biting, growling, fear of people, aggression, even the dislike of being groomed and many more and One-to-One training if you feel you need a little more help training your dog (available here at or training centre or at your home).
